Molly decided that since today was the last day of the year she would go out with a developmental bang.  First, she figured out that she could not only use the drawer to keep herself standing but that there are A LOT of clothes that are just begging to be thrown on the floor.
Until today she would hold onto her new activity walker and would keep her feet planted firmly in the same spot as it slid forward, resulting in a fall-softened-by-Mommy-belly-flop.  Today she actually tried to "catch" herself and took three steps forward.
And finally, she figured out that she could stick her hand into her puff bottle and pull out a snack on her own.  Of course she has yet to learn any self control.
"Molly.  Do you already have a puff in your mouth?"
(The answer was yes.)
And later, after Daddy got home, she practiced her new skill.
I think she is still trying to figure out why she didn't get any snacks out of there.
Happy New Year everyone!
Here's to a long life and a merry one;
A quick death and an easy one;
A pretty girl and an honest one;
A cold drink - and another one!

Happy New Year Amy, Ryan and Molly! Looking forward to the years to come with the cousins and thank you for the blog inspiration!
