The Day We Almost Went Viral

This evening I was giving Molly her bath and realized that I didn't yet have a video of her dunking her head under the faucet.  So I took one.

And 2 SECONDS LATER WE HAD A THIS-WOULD-HAVE-SO-GONE-VIRAL-MOMENT.

So, I hit stop on my phone, look down to put it in my pocket, look back up and...

There is poop.

In the tub.

A lot of it.  (I will spare you the details except that to fully understand what is going to happen you should know that they were a. log like and b. very dark in color.)

So, you're thinking, that's funny (and gross) but not viral-video worthy...

Just wait.  There's more.

Before I even have a chance to react - we're talking like a millisecond here - Molly turns around to go back to the faucet and sees the poop....

And completely looses it.  I mean, a bloodcurdling scream of terror.  As she screams, she leaps toward me and claws her way up my arms.  Grabbing at my face.  Trying to pull her legs out of the water.  Screaming at the top of her lungs.

It's almost as if she thought someone else had pooped in her bath.  And then their poop tried to bite her.

If I had kept that video rolling for just a couple seconds longer you would have been able to see the ridiculousness of a baby terrified by her own poop.

I would probably still be laughing if I hadn't had to be the one that cleaned it all up.

This story was gross so here are some reminders that she is cute.  Everybody poops.
