So, following our night of camping, we spent the day in downtown Chicago before heading out to the burbs for the weekend. We were going to do Navy Pier and The Children's Museum but - in true Chicago style - it was freezing outside so we focused on the museum.
It was awesome sauce.
I had looked up whether it would be worth it with such a little kid and, according to their site, they had a bunch of activities for infants and toddlers. They weren't kidding. Almost every exhibit had a special section for babies.
We started in the special "under 5" playroom.
And then she did this with the chair....(?)
And then we went and did some serious construction building a replica of the Eiffel Tower. (Which was collapsed by a small child only moments after completion.
Then we hit Mol's favorite...WaterWorks!
They even had a slide!
Then we went to Daddy's favorite room - to dig up some dino bones. But we ended up burying a little baby.
All in all, I think she liked it!
