The Littlest Big Girl

At some point in the last week or so, I blinked, and my smallish Mollish became this very big little girl. She's acquired new tricks galore.

For example, she can now bark like a dog.

She can also give the "signal" for an elephant....

I can sense puzzled expressions dancing across your face.  You see, when I make an elephant noise (which I'm not ashamed to say happens tens of times each and every day), I also pretend my arm is a trunk which raises high above my head with an appropriate amount of excitement at my own loudness.

Obviously.

Now, though she has not taken to trumpeting on her own, she will raise her arm up like a teeny tiny little trunk.

Haven't caught it on tape yet.

It's on my list.

She is an AMAZING kitchen helper.  Reorganizing my tupperware cabinet.

But don't forget, "Work Hard, Play Hard".

Speaking of the kitchen, trays are for babies.  (For the record, cutting up your food is also for babies and will be fiercely boycotted by all big little girls...)

Shoe shopping can fix any problem.

Whenever I ask her to do something that she doesn't want to do, she has now taken to ignoring me and instead pointing at my nose and saying "nose".  Somehow though, after many "nose", I did catch this one new word on tape.

Tomorrow we head to Chicago to cheer on our 3-Day walkers!
