Much Ado About Nothing

For Molly, nothing is everything!

The University of Toledo homecoming parade marches its butt down our street every year.  And Molly was so emotional.  First confused.  Then excited (so many cars!  trucks!  police officers!  music!  kids!).  And then she was high.

High as a kite who just ate 6 lbs of candy that was thrown at her cuz she's so cute.

By the end, she was calling, "More!  MORE!"

And, who says that your days at home with a child have to be boring???  Because Miss Molly Amelia had a BLAST cleaning the fridge out this week.

Was she just excited to see the funky smell dissipate?

Maybe.

And, as if that wasn't enough...

They started fixing the curbs right on the corner by our house.  This means trucks.  Cool trucks.  That are big.  And that lift of giant pieces of concrete and drop them in other trucks.

This is one of about 20 pictures I have of Molly (and baby) watching the trucks on the corner.  We just sit there on the sidewalk.  We've done this for probably a total of 3 hours across the last 2 days.

She mimics them.  She cheers them on.  One time she had a fit when they drove off....

I told her they went to eat lunch.

Dada has been home a lot more over the last week which means Molly has decided that we all three need to be doing everything together.  We went for a walk and Dada forgot his pager and had to run back to get it.

Molly insisted that we sit down - RIGHT THERE - and wait for him to return.

And, if there is anything that sums up Molly right now it is these pictures.  Forcing baby to watch and/or play with Cars.

At least she's well rounded.

O yea and last week she went poop on the potty once.  Now that's something!
