What Should Be A Christmas Post Is Actually....

Mostly about a llama and a photographer.

But let's start at the beginning....

Twas the 7th of December when we stopped being lazy
and galavanted off to go Christmas tree crazy!

Our mission was simple; find an evergreen tree
one that would hopefully not fall on the baby.

We went to the farm and looked around
apparently late cuz not many were left in the ground.

We finally found just the right one
as Molly repeatedly yelled "all done!"

And then as we're leaving, a terrible aroma
we walked right by a holiday llama!

At first it was friendly
and Molly seemed smitten.

Until he tried to steal
Molly's teeny tiny mitten!

Fast forward 24 hours later
the tree was standing (almost entirely stable).

We strung on the lights and the shiny red beads,
taking pictures and howling, "Molly!  Be still please!"

Alas, it was to no avail...
"These pictures are blurry!!!" Dada howled with a wail.

And so we gave up, there were ornaments to hang.
Molly was distracted by a bell she constantly rang.

As Mama and Dada continued decorating alone
Molly set off on a task of her own.

She found that camera we tried hard to use
and it decided it was something she could easily do.

She tilted and focused and snapped shot after shot.
Capturing holiday moments that we could not.

A Christmas prep weekend we will always remember
also check out this pic I just found from September!

  1. Great pictures! You can tell when she is taking pictures that she is trying to make you smile for the pictures, just flipping adorable!
