'Tis the Season

Ryan had this weekend off.  (Actually off...like didn't need to carry a pager, didn't need to go and round, only needed to read his chapters for Monday and continue work on his four research projects.)  Yay!  So, we got into the spirit.

First, we needed a tree.  After last year's fake-tree-with-lights-that-broke-after-you-set-the-whole-thing-up-and-decorated-it debacle, we wanted to do a real one again.  Also, given the amazing 50 degree weather, we thought an adventure to the Christmas Tree farm would be fun.

So, we went out and picked our tree,

had this guy cut it down,

had some laughs,

 blew some bubbles,

and found a Molly sized tree.

Then Molly met Santa for the first time.  You may wonder why it looks like I'm seven miles away.  The answer: they made me stand seven miles away if I wanted to take my own pictures.

Today, we decorated the tree!

"Bring it Bama!"

"Not as easy as it looks."
This one looks Christmas card worthy!
