Halloween

Lucky for us, Ryan and I both forgot to change the clocks in our house and cars and so got her all ready to go trick or treating and started to walk down the street and realized that no one else was out.

It is Sunday right?

Yes.

Halloween was rescheduled for tonight right?

Yes.  6 - 8

What time is it?

(Pulls out phone apparently for the first time in 3 hours) 5:15.

Damn.

I say it is lucky because she was all dressed and cute and it was still light out.  So we got some great - very presidential - shots.

Then we had to keep her occupied for 45 minutes until trick or treating actually started.  Not an easy feat when you already told her we were about to go outside and get treats.

She spent the first few minutes confused.

But quickly caught on to the joys of sugar addiction and - sucker in hand/mouth - she lasted for 3 blocks!  She really hit her stride about half way through.  We would go up, say trick or treat (they would gush over her costume and promise to vote for her), she would sign thank you and then say "MORE!".  Some actually gave her another piece of candy.

Her first house.
 Then came the best part....

handing out candy!!!

We figured she would love this.  And we were right.  She sat at the front with Dada for the rest of the time and gave out candy to all the kids.  Even the scary ones.

Apparently she believes in government handouts.
