90+ Degrees and DADA is HOME!

Here we are having "Mama fun".  Swim suit.  Plastic baby water toys.

And then there is "Dada fun".

Lack of clothes and a hose.

Needless to say, she's glad he's back.

And, in case you missed my facebook video, Molly has started actively participating in Baby Shark!  Ryan and I learned this song when volunteering for Camp Kesem (I put the lyrics below the video because you can't really hear us singing very well - YOU'RE WELCOME! - and the motions make more sense if you know what we're saying.)

Baby Shark dodo do do dodo
Mama Shark dodo do do dodo
Dada Shark dodo do do dodo
Grandpa Shark dodo do do dodo (we forgot to sing this line...)
I went swimming dodo do do dodo
Saw a shark dodo do do dodo
Shark Attack!!!! dodo do do dodo
CPR dodo do do dodo
Went to heaven dodo do do dodo
Saw a shark! dodo do do dodo

Questions I don't have answers to:
Why is a song about a shark attack appropriate for a 16 month old?
How could it have possibly been appropriate at a camp for kids whose parents were suffering from/had suffered from cancer?
Why is the shark attack part of the song CLEARLY the best part?
What happened that the shark was already in heaven by the time the singer gets there...DID THE SINGER TAKE THE SHARK OUT DURING THE FIGHT  (If yes, that is awesome.)

Philosophical questions we may just never get the answers to...

  1. That might be the cutest thing I've seen in my entire life. Not sure what part of the song you guys put your hands on your head but she's nailed that, shark attack, and CPR (future doctor). Well done!

    1. For both of the "saw a shark" lines, the motion is making a shark fin on the top of your head...motioning like it's swimming toward you....
